From 1993 to 2009 - Head of the Department of Anesthesiology and Reanimatology, chief anesthesiologist-reanimatologist of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation. 2011-2013 - Deputy Director of the St. Petersburg Research Institute of Emergency Care, Head of the Department of Anesthesiology and Reanimatology of the St. Petersburg University. Since 2013 - Vice-Rector for Research, Head of the Scientific and Clinical Center of Anesthesiology and Reanimatology, Head of the Department of Anesthesiology and Reanimatology of the Pavlov First St. Petersburg State Medical University".
Doctor of Medical Sciences (1992), Professor (1994), Corresponding Member of RAMS (2011), Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences (2016). The author of 273 scientific works, including 5 monographs, 7 books, 11 manuals, 19 textbooks.
