Irina V. Vartanova, Assistant Editor, Candidate of Medical Sciences, Associate Professor of Anesthesiology and Intensive Care Department of Pavlov First Saint Petersburg State Medical University.
She was born on July 14, 1975, in Kishinev, USSR.
In 1997, Dr. Vartanova graduated from Kishinev State Medical University, General Medicine Department. In 1998, Dr. Vartanova graduated from internship on anesthesiology and intensive care in the relevant department of Petrozavodsk State University.
After the internship since 1998, Dr. Vartanova worked as an anesthesiologist and emergency physician in the Anesthesiology and Intensive Care Department of Municipal Hospital no. 5 of Tolyatti. From 2000 to 2009, she worked as an anesthesiologist and emergency physician in the Anesthesiology and Intensive Care Ward of Military Medical Academy.
In 2007 she defended her Candidate's Thesis on Use of Noninvasive Pulmonary Ventilation in the Patients with High Post-Operative Risk of Cardio-Pulmonary Complications. Since that Dr. Vartanova worked as Assistant of Anesthesiology and Intensive Care Department of Military Medical Academy. Since 2013 she has been working as Associate Professor of Anesthesiology and Intensive Care Department no. 1 of Pavlov First Saint Petersburg State Medical University. Dr. Vartanova has the higher qualification grade.
Since December 2009, Dr. Vartanova has been working as an anesthesiologist and emergency physician in Ott Research Institute of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductive Medicine.
Dr. Vartanova wrote 61 scientific articles, including 23 ones in the peer-reviewed journals. She is an author of 6 technical innovations and patents.
Since 2009, Dr. Vartanova is Assistant Editor of Messenger of Anesthesiology and Resuscitation.
