Head of Anesthesiology Department of Research Clinical Center of Anesthesiology and Intensive Care of  Pavlov First Saint Petersburg State Medical University, Professor of Anesthesiology and Intensive Care Department, Deputy Head Doctor for Anesthesiology and Intensive Care of  Pavlov First Saint Petersburg State Medical University.  

He graduated from  S. M. Kirov Military Medical Academy (1992).
In 1994, Dr. Khrapov graduated from the residency specializing in anesthesiology and intensive care, in 1997 - from postgraduate military course at Anesthesiology and Intensive Care Department of  S. M. Kirov Military Medical Academy.

Dr. Khrapov is an anesthesiologist and emergency physician of superior merit, working in this field since 1994. He is the author of 65 publications.

In 1997, he defended his doctor's thesis (Impact of Certain Methods of Anesthesia on Cerebral Blood Circulation Basing on the Data of Transcranial        Doppler Sonography) and in 2011 - his doctor's thesis (Respiratory Support in Severe Pneumonia).
The major fields of their activities are respiratory support, anesthesiologic monitoring, regional anesthesia, post-operative anesthesia.
